Example

Sue Smith, daughter of Bill and Ann Smith of Gloversville and Margaret Wing of Galway, was united in marriage to Brad Black, son of Rick and Nancy Carter of Boston and the late Brenda Royal, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14, 2004.
    The ceremony took place at ABC Country Club and was officiated by the Rev. Tom Billings.
    The bride was escorted by her father.
    The maid of honor was Christina Smith of Amsterdam. The bridal attendants were Betsy Sani of Gloversville and Laura Spraker of Burnt Hills, sisters of the bride; Rachel Maston, Renee Waters and Amber Kenning, all of Amsterdam.
    The best man was Justin Mensa of Amsterdam. The ushers were Saul Kestler, Sean Fox and Peter Port, all of Amsterdam; Bill Davis and Rich Harris, both of Boston; and John Firestone of Johnstown.
    A reception for 150 guests was at the ABC Country Club.
    A wedding trip was to Alaska. The couple resides in Amsterdam.
    The bride is a 1997 graduate of Gloversville High School and is a 2000 graduate of Yale University.
    The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Amsterdam High School and a 2001 graduate of the state University of New York at Albany. He is a teacher at ABC High School.
